2021 Fair Planning Is Underway

Planning is underway for your 2021 Middlesex County 4-H Fair!

While there are many details that need to be finalized over the next couple of months, we can provide the following information:

·       The Fair will be for the enjoyment of our 4-H members, their families and our volunteers and support staff; for 2021 the Fair will not be open to the general public.

·       The Fair will be held on August 28 and 29, 2021. Static and Livestock entries will be brought in on Friday, August 27 (times to be determined), with all classes and judging held on Saturday and Sunday.

·       Overnighters will be allowed on the grounds, with some restrictions (additional information to follow).

·       Food will be available at multiple sites on the grounds (additional information to follow).

Although 2021 will look a bit different than previous years, our goal is to provide a fun and educational Agricultural Fair, and get our 4-H members back into the show rings and exhibit hall! The Premium List is in process and will be published as soon as possible. Additional information will be released over the coming weeks as available.

PLEASE NOTE: Planning for the 2021 4-H Fair is contingent upon UMASS Extension approval of in-person 4-H events, as well as all Federal, State and Local regulations and guidance for reopening and gatherings.

As always, volunteers are necessary and welcome! There’s a lot of work to be done over the summer to get the grounds ready, and more information about Monday worknights will be issued soon.
